As the VP of Finance at Beacon Bay, Nick oversees the project accounting team as well as corporate accounting. Having started in the hotel project management world at age 18, joining Beacon Bay has been a coming home of sorts for Nick.

Prior to Beacon Bay, Nick was the Sr. Accountant of the Construction and Inventory accounting team at Hilton Grand Vacations. During Nick’s time at HGV, his team worked to oversee the financial project management of the ground up 38-story Grand Islander build in Waikiki. This roughly 36-month project was part of a joint venture with the Blackstone group. Other work Nick performed at HGV was cost of sales analysis and reacquired inventory where he was critical in creating efficiencies and reporting models. Nick was also an integral part of a 4-year audit that had to be completed prior to Hilton’s split into 3 separately traded companies.

At 18, Nick began installing and managing FF&E projects for Fulford Van & Storage for clients such as Marriott, Hilton, Vistana, Omni hotels and The Kessler Collection. After graduation from UCF, Nick managed the $500K commercial FF&E project at the Loews Portofino Bay resort at Universal Studios Orlando where he managed a team of 40. In addition, he was the Project Accountant forecasting weekly job costs, managing labor analysis, budget as well as handling the change order management process.

Nick has also worked in financial project management at Siemens Energy where he responsible for over $200M in renewable energy construction projects. Other experience includes working with Disney, BeMedia, YourWeddingTV and various other growing companies.

Cooking and Tiki cocktail’s are Nick’s chosen relaxation methods on the weekends, when he isn’t rooting on the UCF Knights or Miami Dolphins. He’s a self-proclaimed Star Wars nut, and even has the crazy shoes to prove it!
