Kristi Ogaz is Beacon Bay’s Human Resources Manager who brings over 15 years of comprehensive Human Resources experience including recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, change management, employee relations and benefits administration to the company. She has extensive experience collaborating with senior management to conduct Human Resources strategic planning in order to support and further corporate goals. Kristi has demonstrated experience initiating cost containment strategies resulting in significant savings to Beacon Bay and has excellent abilities to address and implement strategic plans for talent acquisition, retention and succession planning. Her proven skills in labor and employment law including complaint investigation to legal action, have proven effective since joining the Beacon Bay team. Kristi is consistently successful in the development of core efficiency initiatives to drive organizational change and performance improvements.

Kristi earned her MBA with a Specialization in Human Resources from Walden University and is SPHR certified. Kristi also holds her OSHA 30-Hour and Hazmat certifications and oversees safety training initiatives with our employees. She has spent many years working for reputable manufacturing and construction companies in a management capacity and thrives when developing the Human Resources department from the ground up. Kristi has implemented and oversees all Human Resources projects and tasks, including, but not limited to, strategic planning, employee training and development, regulatory compliance, payroll, benefits, insurance management and more. Kristi has successfully managed over 200 employees located in various areas of the United States and states that the keys to her success are remaining teachable, listening to employees, and being approachable.

When Kristi is not at work, she enjoys playing the piano. Kristi took 11 years of classical piano lessons starting at the age of 7 and enjoys relaxing while playing all types of music. When not playing the piano, Kristi loves playing with her dogs or other animals, and enjoys horseback riding. If you don’t find her playing the piano or visiting the animals at a zoo or habitat, you will find her relaxing on the couch watching Live PD, Law & Order or boxing.
