Ken has over 35 years of experience in field site assessment, analysis, and general oversight. He has managed the construction of and renovations of hotels, restaurants, retail space, and medical building projects.

Ken spent 18 years as an Analyst and Department Manager with Stater Bros., a leading Southern California supermarket chain, working with the acquisition team in converting and renovating their Market stores. Here, his project experience ranged from development analysis of real estate acquisitions to comprehensive construction management consulting of multi-million-dollar projects.

In a $20M development for Vista Santa Rosa Country Homes in Thermal, CA, Ken worked with governmental agencies and property management to reposition the retail and office properties in the City of Coachella and Palm Desert.

After completing numerous new construction and complex hotel renovations in Southern California, Ken joined forces with Beacon Bay. He has managed numerous complex and large-scale renovations, including the $55M Furnace Creek redevelopment in Death Valley and $50M preconstruction service in the Grand Canyon.

He oversaw the renovation of an existing 18-hole golf course in Death Valley as well as a four-star 416 room Marriott hotel renovation with 241,124 Sq. Ft. of environmental remediation in Texas during ongoing business operations.

Ken’s experience with disruption mitigation is extensive. As a part of standard operating procedures, he creates out of occupancy and phasing schedules for all hotel projects. He oversaw the construction of a new 5,000 Sq. Ft. temp kitchen and dining facility so the business could continue during the new construction of a 2,107 Aq. Ft. Townhall and retail, saloon bar, and dining facility totaling 34,258 sq. Ft. along with a new two-story 67,500 Sq. Ft. warehouse building in Death Valley.

Ken enjoys traveling and spending time with family at home in the mountains.
