With an extensive background in development planning and program management, Carol brings over two decades of experience and a diverse portfolio of projects to her role at Beacon Bay. Carol entered the hospitality arena in 2000 as part of the Marriott Golf and Ritz-Carlton Golf development team under Marriott International to assist with the development of Son Antem Golf Club in Mallorca, Spain as well as Camelback Golf Club in Arizona and Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Palm Desert, California. In 2002 Carol transitioned to the vacation ownership division under Marriott Vacations Worldwide and the Ritz-Carlton Development Company where, as a senior program specialist and contract manager, Carol provided domestic and international technical support and project coordination to multiple project management teams within the Architecture & Construction division of Marriott’s New Product to Market department.
During her time with Marriott’s ownership division Carol worked extensively with her team on countless landmark projects including Phase 1 of Grande Lakes in Orlando, Crystal Shores on Marco Island, Grand Chateau in Las Vegas, Ocean Club and Surf Club on Aruba, Playa Andaluza in Spain and Village d’lle de France at Disneyland Paris. Her Ritz-Carlton Club & Residences portfolio includes the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco in California, Ritz-Carlton Vail and Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Colorado, the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club in Lake Tahoe and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua and Ritz-Carlton Kauai Lagoons in Hawaii.
In 2014 Carol left Marriott and relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota to be a part of the team hand selected nationwide for the U.S. Bank Stadium project, home of the Minnesota Vikings. While there, Carol provided comprehensive on-site support to include quality control, field observation reports, productivity tracking and issue resolution while representing her company during project design and construction meetings as well as serving as a delegate for recruiting efforts, charity events and community outreach. Carol also holds a certificate in project management from Florida Gulf Coast University as well as an OSHA 30 certification.
